Abstract

The article presents a study on the protein encoded by the protein gene NCgll221 in corynebacterium glutamicum (C. glutamicum) functions as a mechanosensitive channel. The study involves an examination on small conductance (MscS) protein function and expressions of C. glutamicum NCgll221, which were induced in the neomycin-resistant gene Bacilus subtilis (B. subtilis). The results show that the protein encoded by NCgll221 functioned as a mechanosensitive channel.
