Abstract
- The article presents a study of six patients with atopic dermatitis (AD) treated with extracorporeal photopheresis (ECP). Treatment with ECP was tolerated in all patients without any objective or serological clinical adverse reactions. Subjective adverse reactions, primarily in the form of gastrointestinal symptoms, were cited after the oral formulation of 8-methoxypsoralen was given.
