Abstract
- The article focuses on the variable air volume (VAV) systems that have been designed in laboratory exhaust and supply systems. According to the article, engineers are challenged to optimize a system from every aspect of energy savings, functional performance and comfort during the majority of the time that the system is in a part-load condition. It also mentions that air distribution ceiling diffuser devices must be part of the HVAC system design consideration.
