Abstract

The article presents summaries of research on nursing-related issues. One study concluded that the negative beliefs and attitudes regarding body size should be considered in the development of health promotion initiatives in order to improve children's self-esteem. Another study looked at the inequalities and the mental health of young people. A study examined the intervention strategies which support self-care activities across disease and impairment groupings.
