Abstract

The article emphasizes the significance of maintaining coordination and consultation as a solution to address the issue of escalating tensions and conflict between South and North Korea. According to analysts, military measures and threats from the U.S. and Japan cannot solve disputes on the Korean Peninsula. Shi Yuanhua, director of the Center for Korean Studies at Fudan University in Shanghai, China says restraint and civil discussions such as the suspended six-party talks, can solve the problem effectively.
