Abstract

The article describes the case of a male patient with intractable cardiac arrest who was successfully resuscitated with lipid emulsion. The patient suffered intractable cardiac arrest due to prolonged toxicity with the anesthetic lidocaine. Lidocaine is commonly used as infusions in patients with intractable ventricular arrhythmias.
