In this contribution we analyse user requests with regard to opening hours of university libraries. The aim of the contribution is to answer five main questions concerning opening hours, such as opening hours in the evening or opening hours during weekends. To answer those questions we surveyed more than 400 library users using a structured questionnaire. The results show that many users would prefer extended opening hours in the evening and during week-ends. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
