Abstract

This article presents a commentary on the pursuit of creative economies in Great Britain. It relates the trend to the motion of creative industries popularized by the Labour Party. It also explores the relationship between creative economies and information economy or knowledge economy. In addition, the article warns about the difficulty in applying the model of the creative economy developed by Great Britain to other countries.
