Abstract
- The article discusses various issues surrounding the death of labor union ironworkers at work sites in Chicago, Illinois and New York City on February 8, 2011. It provides an overview of the death of Kenneth Puplava at the Glenbrook hospital expansion project in Illinois and Brett McEnroe and Roy E. Powell at a Manhattan church renovation. It also discusses the lawsuit filed by the Puplava family against contractor Peeper Construction Co. and steel erector-fabricator Lejeune Steel Co.
