Abstract

The three-month-old Roast Sandwich House in Melville is more ambitious than its nondescript strip-mall setting suggests; most of the ingredients for its 26 specialty sandwiches are made on the premises. They include roast turkey, brisket, chicken, beef and pork; fresh mozzarella; and creative condiments like mellow ale-infused mustard, tomato jam and roasted poblano aioli.
