Abstract

The article discusses the results of the study "The Arts and Australian Education: Realising Potential," released by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER), which calls for the integration of the arts in all academic disciplines and fields to promote creativity and imagination. The study, conducted by University of Sydney Professor Robyn Ewing, showed that students whose learning is integrated with arts achieve better grades and overall test scores. Ewing calls on Australian governments to invest in arts education initiatives.
