Abstract
- The article discusses the production management of the construction of the 787 jet transport by aircraft industry company Boeing Co. The announcement by the firm that delivery of the transport to the airline All Nippon Airways had been postponed until July, 2011 is considered as one of a long string of such postponements due to problems in the development and flight testing of the transport.
