Abstract

The article focuses on the controversies of pasteurization of infant milk in the U.S. It says that pasteurization methods have been affected by the search for cost effectiveness. It mentions that the product has become flavorless and anonymous through the standardized processing. Meanwhile, Price Foundation members have planned to engage federal and state officials to a constructive debate on the precise standards of milk-safety laws.
