Abstract
- The article looks at the music video for Michael Jackson's "Black or White," directed by John Landis, focusing on the consciousness of Jackson's dancing in the context of racial identity. The appearance of people of various ethnic backgrounds in the music video is also discussed, including young white actor Macaulay Culkin. The author compares "Black or White" to the film "Stormy Weather."
