Abstract
- The article offers updates related to the mining industry in the U.S. and Canada in 2010. Silver Standard Resources Inc. has entered into an agreement with Pretium Resources Inc. to combine its Snowfield and Brucejack gold-cooper projects into one. Thompson Creek Metals Co. Inc. has acquired Terrane Metals Corp. North American Tungsten Corp. Ltd. has resumed its CanTung mine in Canada in October.
