Antioxidant activity and flavonoids of Stachys ocymastrum.

The article presents a study on the antioxidant activities and flavanoid of Stachys ocymastrum species. It says that aerial parts of Stachys ocymastrum were collected from Djebel El-Ouahch in Constantine, Algeria which were air-dried and powdered and macerated in a methanolic solution. It mentions that a modified method of T. Hatano and colleagues was used to measure the radical scavenging activity of the species' butanolic extract and discovered that it had a good antioxidant activity.
