Abstract
- Reports on the use of signature-tagged transposon mutagenesis (STM) to conduct a screen for random insertion mutations that affect colonization in the suckling mouse model for Vibrio cholerae. Number of mutants with transposon insertions in toxin coregulated pilus biogenesis genes isolated using STM; Colonization defects caused by insertions in lipopolysaccharide, biotin and purine biosynthetic genes.
