Abstract

In this study, characteristics age and growth of population Capoeta antalyensis (Battalgil, 1944) was determined between the period of March 2009-February 2010 in Aksu Stream (Isparta-Turkey). Age frequency of 1163 individuals have been ranged to 0 from IV years old, the average fork length 10.68±0.11 cm, the average weight 27.18±0,87 g, the relationship length-weight W=0.01FL3.17 (R=0.993), von Bertalanffy age-length and age-weight growth formula as Lt=35.73 [1-e-0.14(t+1.48)], Wt=837.75[1-e-0.14(t+1.48)]3.17 and the average condition factor 1.68±0.01 respectively.
