Abstract

A magnetically recoverable chiral rhodium catalyst exhibited excellent catalytic activity and enantioselectivity in asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of aromatic ketones in aqueous medium, which could be recovered easily viaa small magnet and used repetitively ten times without obviously affecting its enantioselectivity.
