Abstract

Introduction: The repair hernias diaphragmatic retroesternales has been described successfully through laparoscopic techniques, demonstrating its feasibility and reproducibility. Described a technique videoasistida for repair of these defects diaphragmatic through points extracorporeal placed through the abdominal wall. Presentation of the Case Clinico: Female four months of age that the performed an x-ray thoracoabdominal by constipation is displayed default diafragmático earlier. The patient is scheduled in the form elective for repair laparoscopically. The surgical time was 25 minutes. Its recovery was satisfactory tolerating mouth the same day and egresándose the following day. The follow-up to the patient is 14 months and radiologicámente there is no evidence of recurrence. Discussion: The first repair laparoscopic diaphragmatic hernia retroesternales was described pos Kuster in 1992. Described a technique for closure of the defect placing the points through the abdominal wall, taking with the needle the edge of the defect and emerging points outside the wall leaving the knots subcutaneous, obtained good results, and with greater technical ease.
