A Skin Cancer Prevention and Early Detection Program Disseminated Through Cosmetologists Using Evidence-Based Curriculum: Talkin' About Better Skin (TABS).

The article presents a study which examines the preparedness of cosmetologists in disseminating information on skin cancer prevention in Texas. The study intends to determine the effectiveness of the Talkin' About Better Skin (TABS) training to develop the cosmetologist's knowledge on skin cancer prevention and early detection program. The study proves the credibility of cosmetologist to reduce health disparities through the evidence-based health programming.
