Neoliberalism and the Future of Canadian Literature.

This article points out that the financial crisis a result of decades of neoliberalism and that this could substantially affect the future of Canadian literature. It is observed that whether or not the neoliberalist ideology will continue to prevail will affect Canadian literature. It is argued that it will affect what will be taught and researched. It will also affect Canadian literature's social, political and economic aspects. It will also influence how and where it will be taught.
