Abstract
- The author reflects on the reluctance of Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu to reach a peace agreement with Palestine. He cites the effort of U.S. President Barack Obama to support Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in convincing President Netanyahu to agree about peace negotiation, however, the latter stands firm on his decision. The author asserts that President Netanhayu's unwillingness for peace agreement was driven by his self-interest to control Palestinian territories.
