Abstract

The article presents a case study of two non-smoking women referred with recurrent fever partly resistant to antibiotics and responsive to steroids. The patients undergoes clinical examinations including chest x-rays, computed tomography (CT)-scan, and thoracoscopic biopsies, which shows irregular nodules in the lungs that led to the diagnosis of lymphomatoid granulomatosis (LYG). It discusses LYG that occurs in middle-aged patients with vasculitides, delayed diagnosis, and mimicking infections.
