Bodies Found At L.I. Beach Are Linked To Motels.

Telephone records from 2009 belonging to one of four murdered female prostitutes found on Long Island were traced to budget motels about 15 miles from the beach where the bodies were found, a law enforcement official said Tuesday. The woman, Melissa Barthelemy, 24, is the second of the victims to be linked to a nearby motel, in a case that the authorities consider to be the work of a serial killer. Another victim, Megan Waterman, who was 22 and from Maine, was last seen at a motel in Hauppauge, N.Y.
