Abstract

The article presents a study on Ten-Eleven-Translocation 2 (TET2) mutation on children with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). It mentions that DNA sequence analysis was performed before using DNA primers on TET2 gene on 104 childhoods AML with permission from Dutch Childhood Oncology Group. It states that DNA during remission did not express TET2 mutation. The study shows that TET2 mutations in childhood AML presents lower rate compared to adult AML.
