Bank Bid Sparks Talk of Who's Next.

The article reports that Canadian financial-services firm Bank of Montreal (BOM) announced it will acquire U.S. rival Marshall & Ilsley Corp. , a development prompting speculation that other regional banks in the U.S. could become buyout targets as well. As part of the deal BOM will repay the $1,7 billion Marshall borrowed from the U.S. Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP).
