Abstract
- The article discusses a study on the contribution of human factor in taking risk in an avalanche terrain. It mentions that the study aims to reveal potential connections between the said factor and the incidents of avalanche. It indicates that people exposed themselves to avalanche risk due to satisfaction and motivational needs. It also adds that a woman's presence moderates the risk taking of men.
