Abstract: The article offers information about the native language Isthmus Zapotec. It states that Isthmus Zapotec is the common name of the language used by Zapotec spoken on the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, Oaxaca, Mexico. It indicates that it is the first language of several inhabitants of various cities and towns, smaller communities with lexical, syntactic, and phonetic variation between towns only a few kilometers apart.
