Abstract
- The article provides information on a study which investigated the expression and role of CD151, a hydrophobic protein, and/or N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitroso-guanidine (MET) protein (c-MET) in intraheptic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC). A review of the related literature on ICC and transmembrane 4 superfamily (TM4SF) proteins is offered. It describes the methods utilized by the research authors. The findings of the study are discussed in detail. It observes the implication of overexpression of CD151 in metastasis/invasion of ICC.
