Abstract

The article presents a study which aims to determine the effects of lead exposure on the gestational age and risk of premature birth. It discusses the materials and methods as well as the results of the study. It reveals that fetal exposure to lead does not affect the gestation period but is uncertain regarding the dangers of premature delivery.
