Abstract
- This article discusses a study which reviewed the informed consent and the risk-benefit analysis of offering experimental fertility preservation procedures for patients undergoing chemotherapy. All available options to preserve fertility, except for embryo and semen freezing, are considered experimental and thus, raise ethical issues. The study suggested that there should be no ethical objections to such services as they are offered with the scope of preserving future fertility.
