Abstract

The article focuses on the study which evaluates the importance of immunohistochemical markers in surgically staged endometrial cancer patients. According to the study, estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR) antigens have been investigated through total abdominal or modified radical vaginal hysterectomy. It found that immunostaining for ER was inversely related to the histopathological differentiation of the tumors, while PR expression showed better clinical outcomes to patients.
