Abstract

The article presents a study which examined the relationship between the intensity level of physical activity (PA) and cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) in teenagers in Europe. The data on adolescent body weight and height used in this study are extracted from the Healthy Lifestyle in Europe by Nutrition in Adolescence Cross Sectional Study (HELENA-CSS). The PA thresholds associated with a healthy CRF are assessed.
