Abstract

This paper discusses the effective application of a mobile flu clinic to a number of vulnerable Indigenous communities across a large rural/remote area of NSW Australia. We discuss the effect of H1N1 09 (Swine Flu) from a world Indigenous perspective with particular reference to the application of the Indigenous notion of healing and importance of indigeneity to health protection and cultural safety.
