Abstract

The article explains how audience targeting that use real-time bidding works for advertisers. An increasing number of advertisers are seeing benefits from using new technology tools, and deep pools of data to find the audiences they want without having to rely on content. The implications for publishers of this shift to audience buying are discussed.
