State Attorneys General, Governors, Legislators and Their Influence on the Direction of Formal Opinions.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the changes in the ideological direction of attorneys' general formal opinions. Previous literature has not examined the ideological direction of Attorneys' General advisory opinions in a quantitative manner.
