Abstract

This article presents the spring 2009 bird banding report from Foreman's Branch Bird Observatory, one of the several Atlantic Flyway stations located in Queen Anne's County, Maryland. The station banded a record-breaking seven Green Herons, 14 Northern Saw-whet Owls, a record-high five Philadelphia Vireos, a Marsh Wren and a Bicknell's Thrush. It is also reported that species diversity was down for the second year in a row.
