Abstract
- In this article the authors discuss aspects of accidental ownership of U.S. newspapers by moneylenders, including JPMorgan Chase, Credit Suisse, and SunTrust Banks. They note that banks hold passive ownership of a failed company until the company rebounds during an economic recovery. A discussion on why newspapers can not wait for an economic recovery to save them is presented.
