Abstract
- Eggs, nauplii and calyptopes of the euphausiid Thysanoessa raschii are reported from the north-eastern part of the Laptev Sea for the first time (expedition ARK XI/1, RV Polarstern, August 1995). This means that T. raschii has a complete life cycle in the Laptev Sea, including maturation and reproduction, and that there is an independent population of this species in that part of the Arctic Ocean.
