Abstract
- The article discusses a report on the so-called 8200 B.P. cooling event in the Northern Hemisphere as reported by archaeologist Anna Russell at the August 2010 International Conference of Archaeozoology. The effect of the 8200 B.P. event on human activity is discussed with reference to farming practices and livestock use that emerged in northern Syria, Turkey, and Cyprus.
