Mendelssohn on the Mersey: the lives and work of Jakob Zeugheer.

The article focuses on the life and works of composer Jakob Zeugheer from Zurich, Switzerland. He has written a symphony in D major in his teens and studied violin with Ferdinand Fränzl and composition with Joseph Grätz. His orchestral work of an Overture in D minor is in the possession of the Zentralbibliothek Zürich. He has also played string quartets with his fellow students Joseph Wex and Carl Baader.
