Abstract
- The article discusses the assessment of the selection of the correct rigid lens for a patient. Two things are said to be considered while assessing the fit of a rigid contact lens which include the dynamic fit and the static fit. According to experts, the dynamic fit can be misleading on a patient new to rigid lenses. For investigating the relationship between the back surface of the lens and the cornea, fluorescein is instilled into the tear film.
