Abstract

The article provides information on the emergency action plan to address catastrophic incidents. It states that U.S. Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) requires every organization to have an emergency action plan that should contain means of reporting fires and other emergencies, rescue and medical duties, and evacuation procedures. Further, it discusses several studies on disaster preparedness.
