Minimización del Periodo de un Péendulo Físico por Métodos Variacionales.

From a functional expression for the moment of inertia of a solid of revolution, we analyze the period of a physical pendulum which is a solid of revolution. By using variational techniques we find the profile of the solid that minimizes the period of oscillation of such a pendulum, taking as a specific case the one of a bell simulated by a cone.
