Abstract: Discusses results of a study assessing the risk of recurrent coronary events in relation to use and recent initiation of postmenopausal hormone therapy in women who survived a first myocardial infarction. Percent risk of coronary event during the first 60 days after starting hormone therapy; Percent reduction of coronary event risk with prolonged hormone use.
