Abstract

The article discusses Pietro Pazzi, a Swiss national who moved to London, England and became a naturalized British citizen in 1896. He was born in 1848 the Semione, in the Swiss Canton of Ticino, was well educated, and in 1870 he left his village for England, possibly to avoid the Franco-Prussian War. He began Pazzi's Restaurant in 1874 near Finsbury Park near an subway station. Notable people discussed include revolutionary Angelo Castioni who was a sculptor and radical Stefano Gatti. Pazzi's will and estate are considered.
