Abstract
- A letter about a study on unidirectional glass fiber-reinforced polymer (GFRP) composites is presented. The study utilized glass fibers that were modeled as a doubly periodic face-centered hexagonal array. It hypothesized that the polymeric fibrils of matrix stretched between the crack surfaces behave based on the Barenblatt cohesive force model.
