Abstract

By interaction of decafluorobiphenyl and 1,4-bis(hydroxyphenoxy)tetrafluorobenzene, comprising hydroxyl groups in ortho-, meta- and para-position, was obtained aromatic polyether, containing perfluorinated mono- and biphenylene fragments in its' repeating units, separated by nonfluorinated phenylenoxyde groups. The polymers obtained are good soluble in organic solvents and characterized by reduced glass transition temperature. Despite of the same chemical composition of polymers, they have different structural organization (from amorphous to crystalline) induced by isomerism of bisphenols. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
