Speeding Up Gradients.

The article presents a study on accelerating liquid chromatography (LC) separations with the use of smaller particles, higher flow rates, and changes in column dimensions. It employs several experiments with the application of ultrahigh-pressure liquid chromatography (UHPLC). Further, it determines the proper change in the gradient conditions to obtain an equivalent separation upon the changes on flow rate, column size and other gradient conditions.
